our project

The Winning From Within Mentor Project is a structured, multi-phase mentoring initiative designed to support youth development through trust-building, goal setting, and consistent engagement. The program emphasizes emotionally safe spaces, trauma-informed practices, and intentional personal growth.

 

Mentors play a key role by providing guidance, accountability, and encouragement as participants move through each phase of their development journey. As the program continues to grow and secure funding, mentors will be invited to take part in upcoming trainings and engagement opportunities.

What Mentors Can Expect

Opportunities to support youth in safe, supportive mentoring relationships

Training in trauma-informed and relationship-centered practices

Engagement through virtual and in-person experiences​​

A structured framework focused on:

  • Building trust and emotional safety

  • Goal setting and accountability

  • Growth, reflection, and leadership development​

Tools, guidance, and ongoing support provided by the program

​
