Recognizing the enormity of our society's challenges, Divine by Design Mentoring is dedicated to making a lasting impact through our training and programs. Using a trauma lens, all programs are structured to provide healing and support to our youth.

Trauma-Informed Mentoring

At Divine by Design Mentoring, we are dedicated to youth and their success in all areas of life. Mentoring is not "not fits all"; therefore, our mentors tailor sessions based on the specific need of the youth they are mentoring.

Mommy & Me (Teen Mom) Program

Parenting as an adult can be difficult, but it can be even more complex, and as a teen, our Mommy & Me program gives young moms the parenting tools and resources necessary to thrive as parents and ensure their little ones thrive as well!

Training

Knowledge is power, and DbD wants to ensure that youth are knowledgeable in all areas of life, such as job readiness, financial literacy, critical thinking, self-engaged learning, etc. This one-on-one training help guides youth to prepare for adulthood.

Individual Sessions

Weekly individual services are offered to young ladies 12 - 22 years old with a highly trained mentor.

An individualized plan based on individual needs, interests, personality, and history.
Assistance and leadership in times of crisis.
Act as a liaison where applicable.
Development of social skills through coaching and modeling positive behavior.
Assistance in creating a plan of action for life goals.
Behavioral management plan.
Guidance with completion of goals.
Guidance and assistance with social skills and emotional and personal skills.
Guidance with maintaining acceptable grades and employment.
Collaboration with other sources for success.

Group Sessions

Group services are offered in schools, community centers, and planned locations. During these sessions and time allowed, we discuss the following:

· Parenting classes

· Co-parenting classes

· Sex trafficking awareness training

· Job readiness seminars

· Safe Dates Training

· Building a Vision Board
